Grandma and Grandpa Takenaka came out to Elkford for the weekend and offered to babysit :).
As we drove off towards Kimberley, where we were staying the night, the sunset was spectacular!
In Kimberley, we had time to make it down to the Platzyl for supper. The entire town was deserted except for a pub called the Pedal and Tap. Here we enjoyed supper and a few beverages. Very weird having a quiet meal to ourselves...
After a few texts later to see how Harrison was doing we made it back to the hotel. Emily was very excited for the candy machine, I was very excited for sports highlights. Life's smaller pleasures, so glorious!
