After a long morning of decorating and cake prep, Harrison was finally able to open some presents and enjoy some delicious cake. All in all, the party was a big, messy success!

So grown up, isn't he adorable!
Harrison especially enjoyed the noise makers.
He chewed on it all afternoon, but just couldn't figure out how to get noise out of it.
So many presents... so many new toys... he was almost overwhelmed.
Very soon he got into the spirit of things. (And loved trying to get into the boxes)
With lots of help :)
And then came happy birthday and trying to eat the flame on the candle.
He didn't quite know what to do with the cake.
It didn't take long for him to figure out what to do
(brief sugar coma)
Then things got a bit crazy
loopy
and downright nutty
before finally coming down from the sugar high. Just in time for a bath and nap!
