Day 39 - Josephine Falls

Today Harrison pooped on the floor through a diaper, pants and a jolly jumper harness.  Finally, the prune juice is working!

We went to Josephine Falls today.  The trail is 5 km North of Elkford and the falls are a 2.3 km walk in.  The sky was very clear and sun was out so we were able to get a nice view of the falls and Harrison was able to try out his sunglasses.  Last year we made the same hike in the Winter on snowshoes.  Looked a little different this time.

When at Josephine Falls we tried to find a way down to the river (Fording).  Apparently there is very good fishing there.  (The falls were named for Princess Josephine who would often catch big trout at the base of the falls)  We were not able to find a way down the 100 ft drop so we headed back towards town to find a fishing spot.

Close to town we finally found a spot to fish at just off someone's property.  It was a long trek in, but worth it!  Still no fish, but the spot was perfect.

Lastly we stopped by our plot in the community garden.  Happy to say that things are coming along nicely!
