Day 132 - Pie!

Everyone in both of our families made it to the Elk Valley for Thanksgiving.  We were very excited for all the visiting and eating that the weekend would bring.

Emily and I were in charge of pies for Thanksgiving so we spent the morning preparing them.  Lemon meringue, key lime meringue, pumpkin and maple bourbon pecan pies.  So many choices...

After the pies were out of the oven we made it down the road for a friendly game of frolf.  It was the Chambers siblings vs. the outsiders (Cole and I).  Us outsiders won the game and the case of beer we were playing for.  Someday they might pay up :).

To finish off the night we headed into Fernie where the "Masons" had a condo on the ski hill for the weekend.  Uncle Chris and Aunt Carmen brought Harrison a new Tonka Truck.  He was ecstatic!  The rest of us enjoyed a potluck and started warming up for the Thanksgiving feast on Sunday.
