Day 103 - Miner's path

Over 100 years ago miners would walk from Coleman (in Crowsnest Pass) to the McGillivary Cole Mine.  Hundreds of men made the walk to and from the mine each day for about 50 years.  During the great depression those without jobs would walk the path every day to the mine in hope of work.  Seemed suiting that Emily and I take the path.  No mine there anymore, no jobs for us.

After the stairs to the old mine site the trail continued on to Rainbow Falls.  We stopped at the falls for some pictures and to give Harrison a chance to get out of the carrier.

Harrison was bored with the family shot so we decided to have some fun.

We love our timer shots....  check out the next 10 shots in sequence.

When the hike was finally over we let Vinnie have some fun to.
