Day 94 - Sleepless in Seattle

Since we only had one full day in Seattle we had to visit all the typical tourists spots... very busy.  I will tell the story of our day via pictures.

We started the day with a coffee at the first ever Starbucks.

After coffee we looked around the Pike Place Market.

The infamous fish tossing store.

After the market we headed down to Post Alley and the Market Theater.

Inside Post Alley we found the Gum Wall.  It was amazing.

Hungry after seeing all that gum we headed for some Chowder.  Possibly the best I've ever had.

After lunch Emily needed a pick me up.  The espresso was the strongest we had ever tried.

With some new found energy (and possibly a stomach ulcer) we headed up town for some shopping.

Next was the monorail.

The monorail took us to the space needle.

Harrison loved the ride up the elevator to the top.  The tour guide couldn't continue talking since Harrison was screaming so loud.

He couldn't believe how high up we were.

We were very lucky to be on the needle on such a clear sunny day.  Views were fantastic.

Vinnie was very excited to see us back in the hotel at the end of the day.  When contemplating where to stay the next night on the way back to Elkford we decided that another night in the Seattle area wouldn't hurt.... so we bought tickets to the Seahawks game!
