Day 10 - Ancient Cotton Wood and Fairy Creek Trails

In the Ancient Cotton Wood Trail (12 km South of Fernie), a short interpretive walk of maybe 1km, the Cotton Woods were some of the oldest found in the world. Ranging from 250-400 years old and some up to 5 stories high. Cool little stop. Trent made me hug one of the trees with him.

Fairy Creek Trail was a bit more demanding even though we took the shortest of the 4 options available. This hike was about 5km single track trail leading up to a refreshing waterfall. The cool mist off the waterfall base was just what we needed after dragging Vinnie up the mountain.
