Today we ventured off to Grave Lake.
This small mountain lake can be found with help from an Elkford visitor centre map and by travelling 10 km through the bush via some old mining roads 15 km South of Elkford.
Once we found the lake we took some time to enjoy the sun, tire Vinnie with a game of fetch, dip Harrison's toes in the mountain water, contemplate if we could get the RV down the gravel roads to the campsite and then finally a fire to end off the day.
