After a nice slow morning we got a surge of energy (caffeine) and decided to try find the Sulphur Springs nearby. The springs are only 5 km south of Elkford however it takes about 40 minutes to drive there because of all the backroads you need to take. The springs were luminescent, the smell was intense and the bottom felt disgusting! Apparently though, a dip in the water is very healing. Thankfully there was a rope swing for us to use!
And then.... guess who has a plot in the community garden!! Last plot in this cute little fenced in park. We were helped by some friendly locals in filling our bed and even got a row of discarded lettuce plants in :). Cant wait to bring home some fresh veggies.
