Day 61 - Grassi Lakes

Today we decided to venture into Canmore.  Being a long weekend it was an absolute zoo!  It was very nice to head north of town to check out a hike at Grassi Lakes.  The lakes at the top of the hike were freezing, but absolutely gorgeous.

Chris and Carmen joined us at the campsite for supper.  We were able to toast to their engagement and indulge around the fire.  (Think sugar cone filled with marshmallow, peanut butter, chocolate chips and banana baked in tin foil over the fire :)
